SFMOMA Identity

Designing a bold identity from the inside out.In 2013, as SFMOMA underwent a massive physical expansion, its in-house design team reexamined the museum's values and relationship with its audience.This process led to the redesign of the museum's logo and every touchpoint and expression of its visual brand.The new, dynamic logo, inspired by the Bay Area's landscape, reflects a more welcoming and outward-looking approach, symbolizing SFMOMA's evolution and commitment to public engagement.
