Julian Charrière
Erratic
A graphic identity inspired by ice structures and melting glaciers.Over the past decade, French-Swiss artist Julian Charrière has explored remote polar regions, highlighting humanity’s connection to these precarious environments. This exhibition invited visitors to engage with an environmentally, culturally, and politically charged geography, fostering a heightened ecological awareness. On the surface, the typographic treatment visually connects with melting ice. On a deeper level, the materials highlight the environmental impacts of using gypsum board in exhibition design, which is hard to recycle and contaminates landfills.
